A smokey bugger

So when my bike has been sat in the garage for a few weeks it don't half smoke from the exhaust when started up. It normally clears after a few miles but I'm wondering if it's normal.
It's had fresh oil and filter in April. It's a gen 2.

I`d imagine its just condensation if its been sitting for a while and it clears up after a few miles so probably nought to worry about.

What colour smoke was it ? If its white I`d still suspect condensation as a probable culprit but I`d check your not losing coolant at all, my mate had problem with his 1098 burning oil and his exhausts smoked badly but its was dark, smelt and didn`t go away at all just got worse on acceleration.
Edit just read the above reply re. smoke not vapour so probably not as above then ? beyond my technical knowledge hopefully someone will be along soon that can help :thumbup

I'll do that mate, I'll also pay attention to the colour because to mind I think it's a touch blue. . It's not loosing oil as I never have to top it up.
I do remember topping up the coolant with water and finding out that you aren't supposed to.
I suppose the fact that it burns off makes me not worry but none of my other bikes have ever done it.

Hmm I may be a bit unduly worried. I went for a decent run yesterday and just started it up and it did look like water vapour. In fact it disappeared really quickly and felt wet to the touch when I held my hand to the back of the exhaust.

That would make sense actually cos the last time I changed the oil I overfilled and had to clean it out. Perhaps I should check it again.
