...and then onto Whitby for a bag of chips with loadsa salt n vinegar!! :thumbup

Which part of Hartlepool is that, it cant be near the power station, the sea is not glowing & there are too many people on the beach.

Nice bike though. Not sure about the master cylinder covers, you cant keep an eye on the levels.

Its actually at Saltburn, on the A174 between Redcar and Whitby. I usually go that way rather than over the moors. Nice and scenic. The covers were on the bike when I got it, they`re just like sweatbands so are easy to pull down to check the levels. And they keep the flies off the reservoirs as well! I`ll probably leave them on cos if they get taken off I`ll probably lose them. Tsk!

A good road.

I sometimes go the redcar , saltburn, boulby pot-ash mine (very deep & they drive around in tranny vans underground), sandsend route to whitby. Obligatory fish & chips, I prefer to park over the bridge in a small car park (I always manage to find a gap) - saves getting a ticket when parking near the station.

Coming back the moors (possibly Heartbeat country), rosedale abbey, (for a nice cup of tea & a slice of home made cake) blakey ridge, scaling dam, guisborough.

Or even divert to helmsley, bilsdale TT, Great Ayton (Suggitts ice cream), stokesley, home.

Life does not get any better on a fine day.

I forgot to say, mines a blue & white one as well. They are the best.
Not sure about that rim tape.

I was looking at getting white rim tape on mine and now I've seen it I've made me mind up, I love it! On to ebay and get some ordered, is that the 10mm or 6mm?

Smudger, its the 6mm, Ebay item no 270775646205, £5 all in. Quick delivery, fairly easy to fit as it comes in pre-curved sections. It just brightens the bottom of the bike up a bit with it having dark wheels. Just don`t park next to mine when you`ve fitted it!!!
Olaf, we regularly use that route, often carrying on to Scarboro for breakfast at the Waterfront Cafe, then over to Pickering, up to Helmsley for a cuppa and home via theTT route. A nice ride out. " Not sure about the rim tape, not sure about the reservoir covers", fussy bugger!

Cheers Shaun, will get them put on over the winter, I'm thinking of getting the belly pan and fairing painted white with blue decals to blend in with the rest of the bike, think it could work well

s.m looks like yer had a good time tae yersel mucker.:thumbup

Smudged there was a blue n White one on eBay with a White bellypan, dont know if it's still on. Thought about the exact same for mine but undecided at the mo.
