Got a day off tomorra and I was hoping to get out for a blast, just checked the met office site and it's forecast to pee down!! Gonna get up and see what it looks like then decide. Fancy heading over to Hartside and down thru ullswater then back home via Hawes. If anyone fancies it let me know, could meet up somewhere.

Feckin typical! Pished down all day! Stopped now it's starting to get dark! Gonna try again on Monday. Managed to get my new fender extender stuck on instead.

It's a powerbronze one, was £18ish from my local m/c mechanic. Don't know what it's like yet as it hasn't been out in the wet yet. Will let you know how it performs. The fit and finish is pretty good, it matches well to the shape of the fender and looks quite good on the bike.

well the fender extender does a half decent job of keeping crap off the rad and under the yokes etc, still get muck on the bellypan which I was expecting anyway. Not sure if the clutch slave cylinder is leaking now tho, level dropped below min on sunday, no sign of a leak so I topped it to max and went out yesterday , when I got home there was a droplet hanging off the bottom of the cylinder bolt lug. dried it and no more has appeared. level seems steady, will have to monitor it.
