Hi all

Im after some advice about a tuono im looking to buy. Its a 2006 with 8000 miles bit has some electrical issues that may be down to a poorly fitted alarm. Its very cheap at 3999 and would be a strait swap for my fz1..

I was hoping someone with some experiance of this bike could tell me what im getting my self into and if i should leave it alone or if its just a case of taking the alarm out and a bit of re connecting wires?

Here it the add

Alarm, Part Service History, HPI Clear, Owners Manual, PDI, 12months MOT, Excellent Condition. Datatool alarm not warrantied, Beowulf sports exhaust silencers, Colour coded seat cowl, R&G crash bobbins, Tall screen, Its the Tuono R so it has the Brembo brakes with braided lines and the very lightweight O.Z wheels, Backlights on clocks are a little dim although they function, indicator light and neutral light on dash do not work, Bike priced accordingly, Lifetime warranty and finance available.

Hope someone could help

Thanls

Walk away. Sounds like too much trouble to me. Electrical problems can be a nightmare.
And the R does not have OZ wheels, only the factory.
Plenty out there for the same money

Raven I think it goes a little something like this

2 UNLIMITED - NO LIMIT (HQ official video) - YouTube

if these bikes arnt near as perfect I wouldnt touch with a barge pole mate, even if you have to spend a few more quid to get the right bike DO.

I picked up my mint condition orange 2009 gen 2 with 11k on the clock all the keys full service history the lot for 3800 queens heads, so they are out there mate, especially as summers at an end folk tend to sell cheaper to get the chrimbo money in. I did have to go from south yorkshire to the top end of cumbria to collect but it was worth it though.
