Did it fire up then cut out and now won't start?
If yes it sounds like it has flooded, quite common on RSV's. You can either pull the plugs out and dry em off or you can use the full throttle method to get it to fire up.
Personally I would recommend pulling the plugs out and checking they are OK and then dry them off and refit them.
These bikes have a certain way they like to be fired up, you have to use the cold start every time and then decrease the cold start lever as the engine revs rise.
Under no circumstances use the throttle while starting the bike, we have a one way clutch on the starter gears called a 'Sprag' do a search on the forum and have a good read, it will ensure that you never use your throttle whilst starting the bike.
Hope this helps you get her started. :thumbup
