98-00 modded header

Guys,
I have a modded collector ready to
go ...for 98-00 bikes single rear mod only...but good gains..as good as the twin modded headers as these early ones flow better in the first place.And will fit in place of a 01-03 collector

Why dont they sodding well fit an 01 then....? Everything else I can glean about these machines says 99-03 mille and 03-05 Tuono's....as if they are essentially the same ! :confused Surely the headers exchange until Aprilia introduced the Gen 2 with exhaust ports, con rods and valves upgrades, 57mm throttle bodies etc....? Doesnt that mean up to 03 then ?

They do fit !!!
I have this shape header as mine a 2000 model but i fitted a 01-03 dual mod they are interchangable

Thats what I thought...I was reading too much into the description I guess !
Presumably, a 2007 Tuono dual system will fit an 01 Mille R....as long as you mod the port connections to 3 hole...? A 2007 Tuono simply has the Gen 2 motor right ?....what I dont know is whether the system is a different shape to accommodate various bodywork considerations....? Oh to be a newbie ! :dunno

Er they do as per my statement. " and will fit in place of an 01-03 collector" and yes they will replace the tuono's
But this particular collector is the 98-00 model

as per my pm Tim,it's been done before,slice off the 4 hole flanges and weld the 3 hole flanges on...the headers are a copy of gen1 akrapovic headers...and it's not a different shape so no worries there
