You got the standard airbox on or an open Rene stylee ?
Nob this is with just the standed Air box and Air filter , they sed it must be something to do with the presheriseing of the Air box that werks with the Ram air , haveing the tube atached to the air box .

Had chat as well abowt K&N FREEFLOW Filters :thumbdown Ian sed they are expencive ,and back to back on the Dyno make no diffrence whats so ever to power increace , on a bike with cans and standed air box ,

but allso on a road bike they dont work as well as the standed one dose cleaning the air into the Air box then shode me mine off my bike ,then I coud see why , they do work very well with 6000 miles of road and track yous , it was full of grit dust flys moths allsorts of muck and bugs ! , he sed wen we clean K&N's out for ouners the bugs are there but the grit and dust isent as promenent as with the Standed filter ,so gess were its going , but thats the trade off with a freeer flowing filter . for track yous yeah fine as you dont have as much debrey flying arownd on a clean track . very interesting day all rownd , normaley dealers are trying to sell you after market filters . and my service was half the price of it wood have been on my larst KTM FOR A 4.500 Mile service:bawling........ :thumbup.

As Shovel would say,'I heart my Rene'.

Funny you should mention about the K&N filter. I was talking to the mechanice that services my bike - DIT in Sunderland, and asked him if its worth getting 1 off Ebay. He said, no, they can upset the fueling and don't give any extra power. He also mentioned the price has come down on them, due to people not buying them anymore for the reasons he outlined.
