57mm throttle bodies

Hi Guys, does anyone know if 2004 factory 57mm throttle bodies will fit straight on to a 2002 RSVR ?

...with quite a bit of jiggery pokery, I think. Peeps on here have done it so try a search matey.

What you really want is some CER 57's they slot straight on, I did mine.

cer = colin edwards rep in case you were wondering...lol

Got CER 57s on mine too. Cant say I noticed a massive difference over std though!. Might be just me or my riding style!

so do the 57mm TB's really make much of a difference?
i've heard they are better for the (larger valve) 2001/03 rsv's rather than the earlier ones

if mine has the usual airbox, race can, eprom mods will this REALLY make much of a difference??????

am i going to notice much of a power increase & where would it be in the rev range?
will fuel consumption go up much with normal riding? (i'm sure it will increase much more if i thrash her)

honest answers please £250-300 is a lot of money for a minor improvement

thanks

the price would end up more than that....

modified filter base plate or cut down 57mm stacks...new eprom(dr rossi)...to get the best out of it a pc3 and custom map
