Is it worth putting 57mm Throttle bodies on a 02 Mille replacing the 51mm? What's the difference in performance? A little or a lot?

also are all gen 2 tb's 57mm and is it the larger 90 degree angle pipes you have to block off

tb mods are only realised accompanied with airbox, exhaust and ecu eprom mods as well, the gain isn't hugely significant but noticeable. Yes CL all GENII tb's are 57 and yep the large angle pipes (IACV system) need blocking off.

Yes all gen 2 tb's are 57mm and yes both larger pipes, and one of the smaller pipes.

i have rene style air box modded collector a gabro f255 chip and 16/44 gearing so thought this is the next step and jon03mille has the same mods as me and tash do you stock the rsv and tuono stacks as ive not made up my mind which to go for yet ?

Tash is sending me Tuono velocity stacks for more midrange as opposed to RSV stacks for more top end rush. Not sure how much of a difference it all makes but a Renegade style airbox, collector mod, Dr Rossi chip and 57mm TBs, it sure isn't going to be slow. Got to get the gearing sorted too. After that Griff can service her in March, check CO2 and set up suspension. Roll on spring and all those R1s who are going to get destroyed in the twisties! :nana

i will be ordering my stacks and connectors on wednesday i think so then i can get mine fitted up before i get it set up then its will be nearl finnished i think

im guessing the smaller one that you block is the same one that is capped originaly ond the other is for the ppc valve pipe i thought thats what it was just wanted to make sure off someone that knows more about them than me hhaha
