57mm TB on 2000 Mille

Would this be a beneficial mod on the 2000 engine. I was wondering if with the smaller valving that I hear my bike has compared to the 01-03 is it still a good mod? If so what other supporting mods should I get. I am going to get the stock header mod (that MHP does) at a local exhaust shop probably in September.

I would guess (and it is a guess) that any gains made would be so marginal as to not be worth the cost, the small valves just simply cannot flow enough air/fuel, exhaust gas to cope with the larger volumes that the 57mm tb's can through at them.
You maybe able to use 54mm tbs though, alternatively if money is no object swap the heads for big valve ones

i run 57mm cer's on mine with a few other mods but on the small valve engine with good results
