Are these Dogcams as good as the 46Kam's?
I'm specifically after a set up that utilises my existing digital camcorder but has the small bullet camera connected to it via the AV in ports.

Yes mine uses my existing digital video cam, i am able to record on either tape or SDcard, 1GB card gives about 3.5 hrs recording.
I also have the 12v regulator that enables the cam to work from the bikes 12v system.......... as you say the vid recorder MUST HAVE AV IN ....many people have bought the cams but not been able to use them as they only had AV OUT.... I had mine mounted under the front fairing panel but this blocked a lot of light out and the end result wasnt the best...i then used the sucker mounts that gave a better picture......dogcam have there own web site for more info

I fancy doing some track days next year and fancy recording them so I can monitor my performance (or lack of it :roll).

I defo want a camera for the meet up next year in the peak district and I plan on doing a week or so in Mid Wales next year, the roads round there are awesome.

I'm watching that but I'm really after that MiniDVR2 kit as it looks awesome and I'm a little wary about sticking my £400 camcorder under my seat unit. :dunno

May have to wait a little longer, just seen a rather snazzy one piece set of leathers on Flea Bay that I like. LOL :doug
