4 Lines on the Forks

Well, in an effort to try to persuade the Cornetto (07 Tuono R) to turn tighter I have been dropping the forks in the yokes a line at a time. I have been riding round with 3 showing for a month or so and it felt pretty good, but i still thought that there was a little more to come.
So dropped the extra line and reset the sag etc...
soooooo just come back from the first test ride and to be honest i'm not sure, I do seem to be using more front tyre than before.. is that the geometry change or more confidence?
it certanly felt nimble, a touch vauge at the back on partial thottle, but no real stability probs.
I choose a nice bumpy road, clenched me buttocks and nailed it.. ( i shall iron the seat out later)

Well my question is .. has anyone else dropped their forks down to the forth line? and if so wadda recon? is it better for you or wot?

Ta.. Mogs

I have never really been able to gauge how different bikes felt by tweaking, I guess I am too uncouth to notice, I once fitted rear and Fork internal to my TL and could not tell.

And the other one is I once did Cadwell Park trackday with my rear wheel undone, and wondered why my mates were passing me when the year before I was passing them.

Good luck and take no advise from me!!!

If you lower the front, it will turn in quicker, but seem more nervous at speed... if you raise the rear it will help finish the turn, rather than run wide... both of which tighten the turn, just not exactly sure which part of the turn you're talking about solving issues with.
