Hi I’m due to collect my Tuono v4 rr 2019 model next week and want to change the exhaust ASAP as I can’t stand the big ugly one that’s on it but I’m struggling to find out if I will need to have it mapped, as what happens to the cables that connect to the exhaust servo as I don’t wanna void my warranty, is there an end can out there that can be put on that will look and sound good without messing with my ecu or warranty

Aprilia will void the warranty if you remove the muffler for aftermarket one even a akro that is made for the bike .

That's not what I was told by Wheels in Peterborough. I just bought (last week) a brand new 2019 model Tuono factory and had them fit the Akra slip-on before delivery. They told me this is absolutely fine with Aprilia and warranty. Hope that's correct!

And I believe they also recommend BSD Performance in Peterborough to do the map

Kremlin on a 17+ but not the new 21 I don't know anything about that yet . ok 17 + the stock can muffler what ever you want to call it has the cat built in so when it's removed you have to have a link pipe and a can and a bracket that goes to the rear foot peg or footpeg mount some short cans fit to the stock mount but the short can is not good on these bikes less power and not good for the exhaust valves but they do look fab this is coming from someone who still has stock can . Also need to have a remap a Aprilia race map or a Gabro Team racing/Upmap set up or what way you want to go but must have a map or run to lean and again not good on this motor for the exhaust valve which is its weak spot

Is there any negative side affects of disconnecting the flapper valve on stock exhaust ? What I’ve read it’s only for noise compliance …. Thanks
