2014 V4R Service Costs

Hi All,
Having first service carried out on bike tomorrow, dealer gave quote of £150 ish inclusive, having called another dealer there price was considerably less. Not wishing to penny pinch here but was wondering what sort of costs others have experienced for general servicing as it seems to vary from dealer to dealer ?
I appreciate labour costs will vary depending on where you are in the country but surely for a first service shouldn't make that much difference ?
 
Never had a first service on a bike (you lucky fellas!)... but what milage do they do that, and isn't it just engine oil + filter (15 min job) + inspection?

PS: Got a full 'gold' service (all the bells and whistles, including 4x4 transmission box and diff oil checks) on my Santa Fe by local Hyundai dealer this week, for £219.
 
I paid $185.00 USD for first service on 2014 V4R (Southeast motorcycle). It looks to be a little less expensive in the states.
 
My first service was just over $300 au and they checked the valve clearence too.
 
My first service £150 , 12 months later 2nd Service same dealer £150 , It is expensive oil that goes in these engines , I could buy it my self for about £60 and then the price of the oil filter and sump plug washer , Its worth the extra for the dealer to do it to get the service coupon , I have just had a rad replaced under warranty no issues at all .
 
Got my first service for £80...they waived the first service
labour costs as part of the deal when I bought the bike...got my 12 month service booked for Tues so that will be interesting!!
 
Hi new to the forum had a Factory Tuono 1100 for just about a month now. My first service at 600 miles was an extortionate £249.00!!!! Will be going elsewhere for servicing in the future.

250 sheets for oil and filter is costly, must be a lot of oil in them thar 1100s :dunno
 
Can't understand the farcical prices being charged for a 1st service.
Looked up the service scheduled and it's schoolboy stuff.
Oil + filter and a few ispections.... just can't see where the cost is.
OK, so it looks like the oil may be expensive but the rest.... seems like a firkin ripoff !
