2009 RSV1000R - Original Owner

Hello everyone, I have an immaculate 2009 RSV1000R in White up for sale. I have been fortunate to own this bike since new, with only the most tasteful and useful modifications. At a glance, I always wanted the bike to appear stock, so here’s the basic list:

• Arrow steering dampener
• Yoyodyne mechanical slipper clutch
• -1 tooth front sprocket
• Full rebuild on suspension with heavier springs (240 lb. + riders)
• Lower footpegs
• ECU change to Map 2
• Custom fabricated exhaust cans
• OEM exhaust hangars for passenger peg delete
• OEM clear signal lenses
• Fabricated license plate mount

I am an aircraft mechanic by trade and own a machine shop. The exhaust was a passion project; I didn’t like any aftermarket units so I rolled and welded some 321 stainless and used the OEM caps and transitions from a 2007 model because I liked the outlet design. They are all bolted together so repacking is easy. I’m tall and heavy so if you are over 6’, the suspension, sprocket, and footpeg changes make this bike fit and perform very well. The slipper clutch works fantastic, with a very mechanical feel even with its hydraulic actuation. Every OEM part removed or changed was saved, and will accompany the sale. This bike has never been dropped, wrecked, or damaged in any way. There are only a few of the inevitable rock chips in some decals from accumulating its <12K miles. All service is done up to date, all fluids- brake and clutch, suspension, and engine coolant are fresh. Fuel filter/oil filter, spark plugs, etc. changed during the last service as well.
