First trackday of the season for me at CC.
picture.php

Nice to see a few other Milles on track (two in this pic and another one elsewhere). Anyone from here?

My own performance was a bit 'rusty' and it took me 'til session 5 (of 6) to find any rhythm.

I'm using a (Dynojet) quickshifter for the first time this season. Man, are those things sweet :inlove

Sound checked at 102 dBA That's the quietest yet, it's usually up on the 104/105 level.

Not my favourite choice of colour,,,,,,,but that back tyre, tells me you had fun.

I've been driving the race school's FFords around there today - pretty nice track although it ain't Cadwell. Reckon it would be pretty good on a bike.
Pretty bike there.

cool mate. Just bought a mille track bike and really looking forward to it. Got Cadwell booked for thr 17th June and cant wait!
Did you find it easy to get used to the quickshifter?

to be honest I'm not a fan of castle combe either after a car trackday last year, I dont know why i just didnt enjoy it like I have done others, but looks like you deffo had fun which is the main thing

There were a few times when I closed the throttle by habit; also a few times when I touched the lever when I wasn't ready to change (I guess I used to 'take up the slack' before changing). A few times, the change was that smooth, quick and light that I wasn't convinced I'd made the change and gave it an extra one - which put me a gear too high. When I used it properly though, I could really feel the difference - there's just no perceptible lag in the drive...

I've only ever done Cadwell club circuit. The full circuit appeals, but it's just too long a hike from the West Country. Of the six I've ridden (Cadwell Club, Donington National & GP, Darley Moor, Pembrey, Castle Combe & Oulton full) Oulton was the one I enjoyed the most - but then any trackday at any circuit is still fun for me.

I was there! My RSV is the old R model in the back right of your photo - I was wearing white dianese leathers. Its a fun track as long as you like turning right!
