Hey, searched the forum for about 10 minutes to find some info, I'm sure this has been covered. But I'm looking to switch the rims on my 2004 RSVR to a different style as mine just have the plain flat black wheels.
Will they fit? or will I need spacers or adapters for the axles or calipers?? I'm only going to bother if its a direct swap. Let me know!!

Thanks guys.

04 RSVR with axial calipers? if yes then you'll need to machine the disc face by 2.5mm each side or apparently you can machine the calipers <- this one wouldn't be my choice!

So no not a straight swap

From what i've read, it depends on what type of calipers you have. Radials will swap on all models/years but won't fit the older type of calipered bikes. Wheels are wider on radial model ones I think.

oops my bad - I didn't read the post correctly, the later rear wheels were a mil or 2 wider - but seeing as yours is a genII with genII swinger it'll fit no mods :thumbup
