2007 rsv1000r

I've been on here a while but not really posted much so far, and I've had my bike even longer so I thought I'd post a couple of piccies.

I've got a 2007 RSVR in black/red which I've had from new and covered a little over 11,000 miles so far. It's standard apart from the Akrapovic cans and carbon fibre infills from the Factory model. It's also just had a pair of Dunlop SportSmart tyres fitted which I would thoroughly recommend, even though they're a bit pricey.

I had been considering getting something newer, but just can't bear to part with it, so I
might now change the levers and stick a nice set of adjustable rearsets on there.

Here are a few subtle modifications/improvements that I have made in the last year or so...

Assorted carbon fibre goodness added:

Rear hugger
Top fairing infills
Front sprocket cover
Chain guard

Also fitted:

Drilled titanium front brake caliper bolts

Lightech magnesium adjustable flip-up brake and clutch levers

AF1 Racing rear suspension link plates

Lightly smoked headlight protectors

Replaced both front indicator lenses (because they were slightly cracked and I wasn't happy!)



















I'm off to the Ron Haslam Race School in 3 weeks, so hopefully I can make some improvements to the rider too!
