Hi

Does anyone know how the Rear Wheel HP on a std 2004 Factory actually compares with the quoted 136HP in the published specs?

Thanks

Around 120 rwhp in standard form is a true figure, however this can vary between different dyno's

The 04 onwards engine will be approx 127 to 130 at the wheel, it produces more power than the pre 04 engines, but in a different way.:thumbup

Mine is 128 RWHP on Race Technique's dyno (they of IOMan fame) on a 04 factory.

Thanks guys.... that is a great starting point , when i get my bike on the dyno in a couple of weeks time.

Cheers

OMG!!! That looks well cool. That seat does not look to cumfie!! Nice job mate!

Cheers thanks, I designed and built it from scratch myself.

I have just installed an aftermarket EMS to run the motor .... Just got it running this week, well it will starts and idle so far!!!
It is a very challenging processes setting up and mapping a motor from scratch.

Re the seat, ha ha yes still needs to go off to be covered in Black suede in next week.

Oh and its very very loud , just a small blip on the throttle and its up over 105db, don't know yet how i am going to get it down to below 98db at 4500 rpm??????

Cheers
John
