Afternoon all
Picked this Tuono up recently, thinking I would add it to the stable of Aprilias chez Cuzza but since I have the RSV-R and Caponord for the road and an RSV/Tuono hybrid for the track I can't see it getting much use so going to move it on.
What I really want is another SXV550 so monies from the sale of this will go in the 'buy myself another SXV' fund ;-)
As per the thread title it is a 2003 Aprilia Tuono showin 29,600 miles and with a hugely comprehensive service history, mostly by Southern Cross. Most recent service at 29,333 miles on 1st March of this year at Seastar Superbikes.
MOT'd until 14th November this year and taxed until the end of February next. Datatagged too with all the forms ready to transfer to the new owner. I'm waiting for the V5 from the DVLA but have the tear off part that the previous owner gave me.
All in all a genuine, unmolested and bog standard Tuono ready to roll. Good tyres, albeit mismatched Bridgestone on the front and Dunlop on the rear, and both chain and sprockets have plenty of life left in them. No dents on the swingarm but there is the usual mark where a race can has been badly fitted in the past and the swingarm has touched it.
It has also had a renntec rack fitted in the past and someone has obviously not been too careful in how they attached luggage etc to the tail as there are a few scuffs and marks here and there but nothing that a winter re-spray wouldn't have sorted very easily. Similarly the front mudguard has some stone chips that could be sorted at the same time. I could probably have them done pretty cheaply if the buyer wanted it 'mint' as I know a man who can ;-)
I'm just north of Lincoln but have a van so could deliver within a reasonable distance for fuel money.
Bargain at £2,695 ;-)
