Here she is, my 2003 Mille R. Fitted with Mivv GP can, Diablo Corsas and a CF exhaust hanger:

And with it's handsome original brother:

Roll on the summer! :pirate

Nice, I always say 'whats better than having an Aprilia in your shed, Having 2.:thumbup

Unfortunately

Just the 2003 one is mine. I do love the older one, really classy.

Got this old nail in the corner though...

:devious

Nice looking bike fella. :thumbup.

Do you use the RS ?, I used to love my old 250, a real pure riding experiance.

Occasionally yes mate I do. I really love it, as much fun as the Mille but in a completely different way.

The only reason I own another bike is because I don't want to put too many miles on the RS (and I wanted something for longer rides out). I think she's just under 7k now, I plan on holding onto it for as long as I can afford to.

do you have pics from a different angel? wanna see the exhaust (have the same bike with original akrap, but like this one..) ;)

thanx

btw: awesome bike, no doubt about it ;)

Here you go. Was taken when first fitted. Took a bit of getting used to but can't imagine it with any other pipe now.

LOL! If you can get rid of them in +/- 20 miles let me know how! :nana You've got no excuse mate if you've been riding ten years :devious

The first time I've had new tires on a bike and I wasn't about to become one of those skating off on un scrubbed rubber. From people's tales of new rubber, I was expecting bambi on ice - but it wasn't that bad.

Been up the Cat & Fiddle a few times since but there's still a good cm of strip on the back, god knows how much on the front, then again I'd say the overwhelming majority of bikes I see have worse. No strips on the 250 (shock) but still can't bring myseld to reach out with that knee.... Quite eager to get some track tuition done.

To be honest after putting pics of the RS on here I got all nostalgic and the Mille's not seen action since.

I can see a new business venture here !!................

"The Chicken Strip Removal Company" and our motto is "All care & NO Responsibility"

Was only teasing. My last bike, a '99 blade was the first bike I've had completely no chicken strips on rear AND front, but then it was the first bike I've crashed too!!! No chicken strips is overrated IMO

Love the bikes btw

I'm not too arsed about em either. I do find the melted edges look mighty impressive but I got someway to go til I can ride like that! Too busy looking for plod most of the time...

usually the rear chicken strips go long before the front go............you must of had a front suspension issue.

Loving the bikes, especially the RS250. Just sold my RGV250 to raise funds for the Mille. 2 stroke prices are going through the roof

Cheers mate...

...The two strokes are cracking little bikes. That's an old photo, put some after market pipes on to keep the originals nice and the tires are now shagged.

Think the prices on them have actually gone down a bit just recently, seen a few tidy ones for not silly money.

Love the RGVs, would love a white and blue one in the garage. Any pics of your old one?

I always wanted the blue and white one but my mate brought the black one from new and I ended up buying it after he sold it to another mate. I paid £1000 for it in March 2006 and sold it last week for £1850 and only ever had to spend on a new back tyre so 2 1/2 years free biking:doug

If you go on ebay and look at item number 140332531576 that was my bike and there's a little video looking over her

Devestated to let her go but couldn't afford to keep 2 bikes let alone the space. I'll regret it in a couple of years when the price goes up even more like what has happened to the RD350LC and RD125LC's that I've had and sold:angry

The mille better put a smile on my face:devious
