Aprilia RSV Mille 2003; usual 'R' refinements including OZ Wheels, Ohlins, radial brakes, carbon fibre parts, braided lines, and being the 2003 model it benefits from the close ratio gearbox.
Mileage is just under 13,800, bike still being used for a short run out on the weekends. Overall the bike is in excellent condition – see pictures.
A few sensible upgrades; improved Honda side stand, running ‘map 2’, uprated solenoid and gel matt battery so starts no problems, clutch jet mod, removable headlamp protector, 125 mirrors so you can see more than your elbows(!).
The tank has been swapped for a spare as the original suffered from swelling caused by using cheap ‘e10 fuel’. The red tank (fitted) has been fine; now using ‘super’ unleaded. I am told the original tank will return to normal after being left for a few months. Personally I prefer the red tank as it stands out more on the road.
Sale includes: 2003 pillion seat cover, pillion seat, tool kit, original manual and service book, 2 keys, original side stand, original tank (as shown in last image below).

This is the 2nd RSV I have owned and is a superb bike, starts and runs faultlessly and is a really smooth ride – loads better than the previous RSV I had, which had been messed around with in terms of suspension setup. Selling as my bones can’t do sports bike any more so looking to get something more upright.
MOT expires 3 August 2013, tax expires end of July 2013.
