2003 edwards / Haga Akrapovic Ti SBK baffles?

my arka twin system has removable baffles and if they are the same thing which I expect they are then yes they quiet the pipes down alot

found this part number: AP8797159 £47.82 for Exhaust Reduction http://www.ultimateparts.net/shop/c...-RSV-1000-2003-Accessory-Performance-parts-II

not sure if price is for pair or each?

Anyone got any experience, will it reduce the sound level for 'quiet' trackdays?

ta, jack

I have got twin arrows and need the same but the outlet bore of mine is 54 what are yours just to know if they would fit mine.

But if those baffles only are reducers then it might not knock the noise down for track days.

I got black flagged for noise at Donnington as they do an as you ride level of noise that was with a blue flame twin port with the small one blocked off and the large one with the baffle in and still got black flagged at 99.6 on the meter.

The guys there have a man who fits there ones which blank part of it off and the tube has a baffle plate right across the end I will try and find them in the garage and post photos but their one worked.

No experience of them i'm afraid crasher, but I can tell you at Cadwell just before Christmas my 2-2 akrapovic came in at 101db. So you'd need to be getting a 6db reduction to get onto quiet days.

Heres a picture of the type that got me below 98

as you can see the gases have to go round corners which I believe kills the dbs:thumbup

This one reduces the outlet size but is still straight through

This type below I believe will also give less Db as the guy said to me at the track was the reducing type will fool the police but not a noise meter so the one below should also work.

I know what it is like to go all that way to a track then get sent home because of noise level:angry

Hope these have helped you

Thats some great info and pics - many thanks! I will look at a pair of db killers and may end up buying some road legal cans and getting a fitting adaptor made up. Certainly not going to faff around trying to fit the original system!
