2002 RSV Mille R???

hey guys I am about to purchase an 02 Mille R and I have some questions.

Can I add a passenger seat?
Where might I get the parts?

What are some of the first performance things to do? I believe the bike already has a power commander. anything else that fairly easy but not too much on the money side(yeah I know dumb question:dunno:dunno)

ok What parts exactly am I looking for?

Obviously the passenger seat from a mille non-R sorrect? and the passenger footpegs? is that all?

haha sorry yeah if you have the rear hump that comes off with the key and the frame work metal goes right to the rear of the passenger seat area then just a pillion seat and pegs and your away

Sounds like your bike is one of the first 2001 r's, they have a shorter subframe, you will need a subframe as well as footrest hangers and pegs etc, plus a seat

I dont have the bike yet so I am going to have to see if it has the longer or shorter subframe. Hopefully it will have the long one so I can do the swap fairly easily.

So bikes later than 01' got the longer subframe?

Yes 2002/3 model R's have the longer subframe to carry pillion
