Well a sad day in Wobblys house, having only owned the Mille for a few mths and spending over £1000 on it I had decided to sell it on. I rode a friends GS1200 Adventurer and realised i'm too old for flat out mental sportsbikes. A very sad day indeed!!

On the upside someone is going to get a very sorted, pristine RSV-R with all the relevant mods.

On buying the bike I have had a full suspension service (front and rear) with new seals in the front. Work carried out by Pro-link racing official Ohlins tech.

Full engine service including valve clearence check by Aprilia mechanic, new chain and renthal sprockets 1 down on front 2 up on rear.

One of our delightful high flow performance air-filter kits

Power commander and custom map

I have been offered £3200 for it in standard form with all the gucci bits removed by BMW as trade in against new GS1200, however I am two minds to buy new or second hand.

I feel £3750 for bike as listed is a fair price as it truly is a clean well looked after bike, theres very few left that are in this condition with such low miles.

3 owners, 5900 miles, with paddock stands, haynes manual and all original parts ie exhaust, airbox etc.

I am in Northern Ireland so's the bike funnily enough!!

A shame i can't buy it off ya.

Would make a nice upgrade from mine too.:roll

Have ya put it up to tease me.:dunno

That's a very nice example Wobbly, with some great tasteful extras too. I'm sure it won't be long before someone buys that from you. It's getting harder to find mint original ones that haven't been spammed. Good luck with the sale

Have a bid on e-bay amd 18 watchers!! Starting to panic now don't really want to sell it to be honest. In saying that just not feeling it with sports bikes anymore, I had it out for a gallop a few days ago and was trundling along nicely, when i looked at the speedo it was indicating real silly speeds. I can't lose my license and if I keep the mille its gonna go.

I read on here somewhere that mille's are slow??? They so decepitively fast its incredible, you don't realise what speed your doing until (A) the corner tightens up or (B) you look at the speedo.

I rode a GS1200 adventure and guess what? They are what everyone is saying about them superb!!

They are like a slightly fat dame thats a great ride and loves giving head :pirate
