Hey yall, so just got another property and in the shed out back found a 2002 Aprilia RSV Mille. Found the key to it in another drawer in the house, followed up with sheriff and DMV they said everything is clear. So battery charged up, filled tank cause it was empty, key in and...... Nothing.
I can hear the fuel pump going, and when I hit the starter same thing nothing just the whine of the pump. The fuel low and oil light are on but that shouldn't keep it from starting. After it gives the cold indicator it goes to Diag 1. I have tried starting with diag barrel plugged in and not still nothing. I tried this a few more times and with the heavy smell of fuel in the air, I got Diag 11,12. Everything seems tight with battery and cam, was thinking about just hooking directly to the starter to test it but wasn't sure if that would give any ideas.
So has anyone seen this or know what can cause it? There is an Aprilia dealer about 10 miles away but id rather not send it there and spend a bunch.
