while on the subject of clutch's
I took a bike for a test ride this morning and the clutch started to bite about 5-10mm from the handlebar grip, shouldnt it pick up in the middle of the travel?
So does this show that the clutch is on its way out or that it needs adjusting? If it needs adjusting, how do i do it?

Clutch parts are the same. Some early bikes had dodgy pressure plates and it was common to fit a plate from a newer bike.
