I'm looking for mesh or carbon side panels for 2000 RSVR, is there anyone who makes these????:dunno

make your own mate, B&Q for the mesh and silicone , filler or epoxy to fix it on , alternatively Amb67 does the rad guards he might do the side panels too

Are the 2000 RSVR panels the same shape as the standard mille :dunno

I did my own side panels mesh mod with a dremel and sprayed black

RedRat, that's the very thing I'm looking for, perfect, don't want to hack the standard one's to bit's, cause at some stage I'll want to put the bike back to standard, gonna order them ASAP, Cheer's.

2001 onwards shape ones fit with very little effort m8, check my garage pics for details.

You can pick up a pair of OEM 2001 onwards mesh sidepanels for little cash on the likes of fleabay. I got mine for under a tenner delivered. :thumbup

hi Ecosse,

i quite like the look of your mesh panels...the gaps around the tank from taking off the original side panels makes it look more purposeful? or is it me:dunno

Aye, at first when I fitted 'em I thought "Oh bugger.....the 2001 onwards fuel tanks are slightly different" but even at that I still think it looks fab. Much better than a big wedge of plastic sidepanel sat under the tank. Plus it gives extra room for some airflow around the top end of the engine which is no bad thing as far as keeping things cool goes. I guess that had something to do with Aprilia's decision to switch to vented sidepanels when they did the 2001 makeover for the bike. :thumbup
