Hi everyone I'm new here, and am glad to be here. First I would like to say I am a proud new owner of a 2000 RSV Millie. I haven't had a chance to ride her yet because of the issue I am having. My issue is that the back or will not turn over. You can hear the starter and the solenoid engaging. But the motor won't turn. Nor will it push start the tire just skids. I disassembled the motor partially and can not see any reason for it to be siezed. But when I bought the bike and got it home it was very low on oil and the guy I bought it from said it was the spragg clutch. Will that cause the engine to not turn and act siezed. Please if anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it

Hello:
When my sprag went, it would make an awful sound then just spin. My engine was turning over. Mechanic replaced the sprag, I bought the KTM from AF1 Racing, gears, aftermarket starter, and a starter revision kit that came from Europe. Bike starts, they bump started it when they got it initially. I take it when you took it apart your stator looked ok? I think it's the 04 models that started with burned out stators. Mine is an 03. Looks like you need to see if your engine is frozen. It will skid on 2nd even if you jump on it, you can take off all the spark plugs and roll it in a higher gear and see if will turn over. At least you'll know if the engine is frozen or not. In a car they turn the crankshaft manually.
Good luck
