2000 APRILIA RSV MILLE RED (new tyres and recent MOT) - £1850

I have here for sale my 2000 Aprillia RSV Mille, genuine reason for reluctant sale.

I have owned this motorcycle since January 1st 2010. I aquired the Mille from a gentleman who had brought it over from the USA when he moved to the UK in September 2009.

Since owning I have maintained it regardless of cost and only ever ridden in good weather. It's always been garaged and kept on a trickle charger to avoid any starting problems.

I've fitted a beefy battery and when the original starter soleniod failed I replaced it with a new and more substantial item.

I wasn't a fan of the small indicators and the modified undertray that the previous owner had fitted so I went to some length to source an original undertray, front & rear indicators, rear reflector and fitted a new number plate.

Key features:

- MOT expires August 26th 2012.
- Serviced with new oil & filter less than 400 miles ago.
- Brand new Continental sports/touring tyres just fitted (covered less than 100 miles).
- Black double bubble screen.
- K&N air filter element.
- Mivv Titanium GP rear silencer (passes MOT with baffle in / sounds awesome with baffle out :)
- Upgraded clutch slave cylinder from AF1 Racing.
- Armstrong wavy front discs.
- AF1 Racing rear shock.
- Rebuilt front forks to match shock.
- Solo rear seat hump and silencer hanger.
- Also comes with pillion seat with non slip cover and rear foot rests.
- All receipts for work I've had done on the bike.
- Lots of previous service history and receipts.

This bike is in good condition for its age and is a pleasure to ride, the Brembo brakes are fantastic and it's very easy to handle.

It is however not imaculate, there is a slim crack in the headlight lense (passed MOT without advisory), a couple of large stone chips to the front panel and the belly pan is quite scruffy at the very bottom (you only notice this if you lay down on the floor to look). The seat has been recovered at some point and the edges underneath have started to fray a little.

None of this detracts too much from the fact this Mille still looks good and is very presentable.

I advise anyone interested in buying to arrange to view the bike, I'm normally available weekday evenings and at the weekend, please give me a call or send a text.

Should whoever purchases the machine require to ride it home then I can tax the bike at the buyers expense.

Ideally looking for a quick sale so very open to offers, any questions please don't hesistate to ask.

Thankyou for your interest.

Your not the first ;)

Mileage?? Or is that there too????..

Dont like the sound of them tires...

Mileage?? Or is that there too????..

No you're quite right that's missing, current mileage is 22430.

Tyres were on deal and needed for MOT, I must admit they are not as inspiring as the Sportec M3's I've been using previously but I've scrubbed them in and they're not as bad as I was expecting. Had no problem using the rear tyre from edge to edge once they've warmed up a bit.

Anyway, any takers? Price is open to negotiation!

Its the wrong time to sell buddy (IMO) I just had to let an 08 R6 go, virtually mint, I was second owner, with a spare set of BT016`s virtually new for £4000!

I reckon that will be hard to shift with that paint, them tires and no sticker kit...
Can you not sit on it until summer? you will get much better cash...

But you can never tell some1 may still have it off you, here have a free bump! ;)

I completely agree with you, it's just unfortunate that my financial situation means I really need to sell it now otherwise I'd be able to hibernate it until next spring and like you say probably get something not too far from my asking price.

Indeed biggest negative is non standard paint (or rather lack of decals, its a match for the standard red for that year RSV).

I think it needs to go on an ebay auction but then you get all the hassle of fee's on potentially no show winners!!

Open to offers people!!!

Dont bother with ebay mate. I tried that and that was end of august! and got lots of watchers and time wasters but nothing came of it.
Do friday ad, piston heads and gumtree. All free ;)

Also the tail looks like it doesnt match the rest of the paint :/

A sticker Kit would really help it though, even if it were a cheapy all black one.

I was the same. No way I would have sold the R6 for that money if I could wait til next season. May have got £800more I reckon and sold the tires separately...
Good luck!
