Well, my missus is moving, and I keep my bike in her garage and I gotta ride it back to south Oxfordshire later on today, gonna be cold with only summer gear! Just hope she starts etc. Is only about the 3/4th time I've ridden it so is probablt gonna blow my mind! :doug
Also means that I'll be able to put some of the goodies I've been collecting on now. Just need to save up for a Griff service, mpl slave and a few other bits and jobs a good'un for the spring!
Just wih I had a garage here to keep her in :rant

Took mine out for first time this year yesterday, only 30 min blast up to 140 to blow away cobwebs and drop off bike for a custom map on CMC dyno. :thumbup
Make sure you have a neck warmer or similar tucked up into your helmet (the one on youre head :roll) to avoid stabbing pains in the back of your head!
Felt like i'd never been off it, can't wait to get out again, 6 degrees feels like spring after the recent freeze. :doug

Looks like my first (decent) ride of the year will be to Wootton Bassett in march. I ain't keen on the cold any more.

the colds really anoying me now! ah well at least its not snowing anymore or even icy, just jealous of those people with the sun....:(

I've just been out on my first ride this year. It was a 90 minute, fairly steady ride. Oh, that lovely exhaust roar. :doug The roads I chose weren't too bad pothole wise either. Just a bit slimey in places. So glad I was covered in Goretex though.

Went out for first time yesterday, too cold, slippery and too many potholes. Roll on warmer weather.

Went out on the ZZR friday. less than a 20 mile round trip and it looks like I took the scenic route through the woods!

Off work till thursday so hoping to get a dry road day before then so I can get a test ride on the mille and join your ranks.

went out in the end .... I GOT CAUGHT SPEEDING 62 in a 30, not goood, luckily only got a caution and the bike ent even in my name...:(

Well, just got back, soaked, cold but worse, a little worried about the old girl. She just didnt want to change gear, spent half the way from Milton Keynes to Abingdon stuck in 2nd/3rd gear. Not sure why, sometimes ti would then allow me to go up, but then next time it wouldnt no matter how hard I tried to change. Still, got back, thats the main thing!
