After owning my rsv 2004 for over 4 years it has developed an electrical fault. The bike is in limp mode and I have found the that the red and white wire on the immobiliser unit under the left side faring has corroded and melted. I had the immobiliser removed over 3 years ago. I have tried finding a fault code by holding down the lap timer for over 15 seconds and switching on the ignition, but no code appears
What is the red and white wire for? Do you think replacing the immobiliser unit is the cause or the result of another problem.
