gday guys, just wondering the best way to remove the windscreen without damaging any of the mounting fittings...im replacing the stock one with a tinted one and need to reuse the fittings...
im more worried about the ones right at the front,as they are kinda hard to get too,do i need to remove the whole top fairing or is there an easier way...
cheers.
mark.

You can remove it with the top fairing on the bike. But its easier if you remove it.

About removing it, if you have normaln bolts than no problem :).

If you have stock ones, the black plastick one that is kinda buttoned to the fairing then youll have fun removing the bastards :D.

The easier way is just to cut the "circle" at the bottom and you pull out the plastic bolt. But then there gone :)

If you want to reuse it, jut somehow hamer it out from the bottom :D (not kidding)

Advice if they're plastic, you'll be fine on most apart from the two furthest from the clocks.

I rounded mine, but suspect an easier way would be to grip the nuts with a set of long nose pliers whilst unscrewing them from the top - same to replace. Just don't drop them :)

aprilia.me do some plastic replacements which I bought, but didn't think too much of the quality to be honest. Probably get the same sort of ones in Halfrauds.
