1999 RSV Mille front wheel alignment? Help!

Hi guys, new on the forum here so apologies if this has been posted elsewhere.

Just wondering if I could pick your brains?

I have just refitted my front wheel after a tyre change and i can't seem to get the front wheel alignment right?

If I fit the larger spacer on the right then the front wheel sits off to the left & really close to the left brake caliper? Is this normal, could someone post a photo for me?

Cheers

im pretty sure both spacers should be the same width seeing as there is no speedo drive on the front wheel... i don't recall having any issues when i'd my wheels off getting tyres swapped over tbh

On the early gen 1s some front axles used 2 separate spacers and some like the 2 I've owned 2002/2003 mille have 1 spacer on one side and utilise a boss on the through axle as the spacer on the other. Im using my phone to write this so not easy to check but if you go on a site called aprilia parts online and check the exploded drawings tor your bike there's a chance you might be able to see. Anyway....where's your Haynes manual??? shame on you!

As the tyre will be directional just watch it hasnt been fitted the wrong way round, if you have two different spacers it means the wheel should only fit one way and if the tyre is put on wrong this could be causing you to think you are fitting the assembly correctly but in reality it is 180 degrees out, try flipping the wheel so it looks like the tyre is going in the wrong direction when fitted and try the spacers the way you believe they came out, this happened to me not on Aprilia but another bike, they guy who changed the tyre just fired it on not thinking there was any particular way to fit.

The tyre and wheel are fitted correctly as are the spacers. The issue is that if I close the spindle up to the spacers then the front wheel sits off to the left.

So should I use the end of the spindle to act as an extra spacer? If so, then how far apart should the bottoms of the fork legs be?

Any help gratefully received,

Cheers
