I bought this exactly a month ago today with the plan to track it after crashing my gixer and having had previously heard one of these on track and loving the sound I wanted one. Unfortunately though I took it to Brands today and I just wasn't feeling it and really missed the gixer so there is no point me keeping it so I am going to sell it and fix up my gixer. It will be going on ebay but I thought I`d offer it on here 1st.
Its a 1999 rsv mille with around 28000miles on the clock. I have part history with it and according to previous owner its just had a new clutch, new battery, oil filter service, new brake pads and new chain and sprockets very recently. The chain etc I can see has been done but rest I only have his word for it though I have no reason to doubt this and it does all work well.
It has 5 months tax on it an MOT until march 2015.
I had the leaky tank issue but it now has a new tank from the R model so all sorted.
It is a really clean bike with no faults I can find, its starts on the button and all works as it should, I love the look of it but the V-twin after 15yrs of in line fours just isn`t for me.
it has a scorpion race can plus standard and rear seat as well as cover and pegs. loads of old mots etc and of course the V5.
Any questions just ask me. All in all its a nice clean honest bike but just not for me.
I can email more pics once its out of my van with number plate and mirrors back on but heres one for now. (the marks on the road are from me spilling petrol filling the new tank up not anything leaking from the bike)
