Hi all

I have a 07 Tuono was told i can put a 15 tooth front sprocket on ?

That will give me better take off & not so much top end ?

Can you help by telling me what one you are running & if the 15 is better ?

Thanks

Still running 16 & its good enough for me. Putting the 15 on will give quicker acceleration - as if you need more, and easier wheelies. You don't lose much top end, having said that, how many times do you go to 150?

Best sprocket combo for the Gen2 T is 15t front and 42t rear.Totally transforms the bike.Top end is hardly effected at all,...she'll still do 150+ but feels at lot more lively and smoother.

f, Iran the 15t on ma machine from new (the factory came with it for yer tae fit).

I recently renewed ma chainset and opted fir a 42 instead of the std 40, whit a difference it makes.

IMO go for the 15/42 yer won't regret it. :yes

I should add I had a 15/41 on my '07 and now have 16/43 on my '05 which is very similar. Right in the sweet spot.

15 / 42 for me total transformation:thumbup , previous owner had it on 16 / 44 :thumbdown

My 2006 Gen2 Tuono also came with a 15T sprocket in a plastic bag with all the documents. So after about 200 miles I did the swap; so much better than the 16T sprocket.
Might try 15/42 given the rave reviews above, just need to wait for the chain and sprocket to wear out, shouldn't be too long.

Going from a 2.75 ratio to a 2.8 ratio was a "total transformation"
That's a difference of 75 rpm at 65 mph in top gear. ???

not one figures and calculations mate just know when a bike feels transformed but 65mph in top gear sounds a bit girly to me :yes
