First time Italian motorcycle owner. First bike (street) was a '66 Bonnie. Got into the rice rockets (GXSR, BUSSA, BLACKBIRD, FZ1 Gen 1 and 2 and several more in between).
Got tired of disposable bikes and went out and bought a new Tuono. First thought "what was I thinking with all the Jap bikes!? This bike does everything and is way faster then I ever was or will be.
That being said, thinking about changing the can to a Mivv.
Anyone have any advise? Do I need to change the Mapping? Should I run it with the governors or wide-the-hell-open? Is it something that makes sense? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Lastly, is the Mivv the best choice or?

Thanks in advance,

Duffdad

Dunno about Mivv versus other brands, but you definitely should get the mapping changed. Baffles or not comes down to a personal choice and how much you like your neighbors. :sigh

Dd, I've run the Mivv Suonos for 20k miles and have no complaints.

They come with 2 sets of baffles and I use the more open of these rather than straight through.

You should have yer machine on map2 no matter whit cans yer got.

:no He's bought a V4T mate.Different set up.

Your bike will run just fine without a remap, BUT a race ecu or race map installation will liven everything up and smooth out the throttle response.

Down to personal preference I guess.

A race ecu is around £320 or you could send your ecu to gabro off of the AF1 site and he will do a reflash with his own upgraded map for around £250.

Ask Dan on here about the Gabro map!
