I'm shortly going to do a European ride of approximately 1200 miles over 5 days with some Advanced riders on my 07 RSV.

Any pointers with regard to riding these beasts long distance :confused

Many thanks :thumbup

Possible wrist ache and neck ache and lumpy if riding round town at low speed but apart from that - fine I would think lol

.. and lumpy if riding round town at low speed..

lumpy around town mine is no problem at all. Once the throttle bodies are balanced (apparently needed as engine map changed to number 2) then should be silky smooth.:dunno

I can do 240miles ok and my backs knackered, but i do have fat bars on ie a comfort kit, seat[single on mine ] is as comfy as my fjr1300 believe it or not, like they say piece of piss if your doing 60,70,80,mph but you may dread seeing some traffic ahead. Enjoy

i did 250mile trip the other week with no worries the only thing i could fault was the mirrors are crap on motorways apart from that is was awesome

If you're going through France, make sure you've got a hi-vis vest, a full set of spare bulbs and all the other nonsense that the bonkers French law requires!

yeah like a string of onions and some deoderant lol.
The french are rather keen on us at the mo so watch out, I will be, in september on the way to Misano.
