120/60 front tyre

Hi Guys
I happen to have a brand new Dunlop Sportsmart 120/60/17 and was wondering whether to fit it to my T.

Have anyone used profile 60 front tyre on Tuono/RSV before? Does it handle OK? What is the difference? If I understand correctly, profile 60 at 120 wide tyre means the sidewall height is 36mm as opposed to 42mm on 120/70 tyre.

I need to change tyres soon and was thinking I could getaway with buying only rear one :yes
 
All I would say is that Aprilia do not recommend that size of tyre for the T.For that reason alone I would not fit a 120/60.
I know a couple of guys that owned Ducati 748's.They came with a 120/60 as standard.Both of them changed to 120/70 and reported the handling as better.At the end of the day,its down to personal preferance.
 
You are probably right... I was hoping to save few quid but it may not be a good idea after all...
