1100 fuel consumption

Hi I was wondering is the fuel economy better on the 1100 compared to the other v4's?
Thanks

These things need a taller tank so I could rest my elbow on it whilst waiting for mates. Extra capacity would be handy with it too.

I have a new 1100RR with 3000kms on it, and while on a ride the other weekend with the boys (Ducati riders) I ran out of fuel. With a mixture of riding ( couple of runs to 2..kph ) fast and medium speeds, the tank was dry at 243kms. I got a bit of a ribbing from the Ducati boys.

Fuel economy on all V4 Aprilias is pants, 28/32 mpg depending on how you ride. Nobody buys a V4 for economy surely? I know I never even considered it I just wanted one! Rob

I have a Tuono 1100 factory only 109 miles on the clock, obviously the engine is tight but fuel consumption is as I would expect for a 175hp bike is crap-pants-s**t-brutale
But this was my expectation.

1100 factory, stock ECU average 9 litres per 100(26 mpg) fuel light on after 150 km's. I don't baby this bike.
