100w bulbs on gen2

Guys,
Just wondering if any of you have upgraded your bulbs to 100w ones or have to stuck to the 55w standard ones?
If you have upgraded have u done both beam and headlight or just headlight?
Would the standard wiring cope?

a 100W lamp will draw 8.333333amps each, running two headlights that's 16.666amps, not sure what the output of the generator is along with everything else the bike needs to run, don't forget you can't turn the lights off so that's constant use

Why would you want 100w bulbs mr Foggy ?

These are the Philips Crystal Vision on my T and are impressively bright"¦.Loads of good comments from the lads and fit them to all my bikes"¦.

Yeh , I wouldn't up the wattage . In my triumph s3 I used Philips Vision Plus and that improved the lights a lot (that's H4's )Don't think they do them anymore, so I would try Markeys option for the H7's ????
