Colin (who is 100% suspension) used to work for Ken Summerton who is K-tech, so he's pretty knowledgeable. If your suspension isn't too knackered for adjustments to make any difference, he should be able to help with static sag and settings.
I ended up bunging him £45 a few weeks ago as the supposedly re-valved forks on my '10 fireblade were locking solid about an inch short of full travel. He could tell they handn't been moded, explaind why, and helped out with a few tweaks to make it a bit more bareable (Jap crap, Italian bikes seem to be better suited to track in standard form). I'm good enough at suspension settings to win club championships, but I was knackered with this and he helped, so he's probably pretty good.
If your suspension is in good enough condition for changes to settings to make a difference, you will notice the difference and be able to feed back.
