can anyone explain how i can lower my headlight beam as it is to high and blinding drivers:cheers

Hi and welcome to the Zone Allen.

Tuono Rs come from the factory with low beams that are only good for blinding possums.:banghead

Here is a quote from an AF! forum thread by "Timcrasher"

The headlights are always set a little high. To adjust them you require a 4mm ball-ended allen key. You will find the adjusting screw at the back of the headlight, near the middle of the light unit. If you look at the central air intake you will notice a small recess in each side to allow access to the headlight adjustment screws. Turn the forks to full left/right lock to gain access. Turn the screws anticlockwise until 3mm of thread is showing. The adjustment should now be just about right.
Obviously if you have altered the ride height/droped the forks you will need to adjust it to suit.

Cheers mate

I had the same issue with my new Tuono...

See Dave i adjusted the one directly behind the light and it only did the side-to-side adjustment... and adjusted so far that the light fell off its adjuster and it was a ******* to get to...
but it is in the general location of where dave said... closer to the head stock i would say though as apposed to the centre of the unit..

I can;t believe that UK dealers send the bikes out with lights like that = I was stopped by the police twice for same issue..
I complained and got some free *****....

good luck and enjoy it... i love mine.. 3mths old and done 2500miles so far...

I really feel that there is insufficient overlap between high and low beams. So that when high beam is selected, the road immediately in front of you disappears. Ideally, I would like to arrange for all four lights to be "on" when high beam is engaged - like it it is when you hit the "high beam passing switch".

These standard globes are only rated at 55w each, making 220w @ a nominal 12V = 18.33Amps, with all four illuminated. Surely this low-ish current wouldn't adversely affect the charging system. Others more in the know might have some input into this theory.
