07 model odometer reset

I have read a few post about earlier bikes odometer resetting when the battery goes flat, or the have electric faults. There are a few '07 models for sale with very low ks 7500km, 3800ks, and even one that has 1200ks now did the '07 have the odometer resetting problem, I think a few owners are telling porky pies about the actual ks on the bike, no dout I will ask for service history ect.

As far as i know the prob was sorted before the 05 came out
so 07 should not have this prob

Any bikes manufactured after March 04 should have the new clocks. (that's manufacture date not registration). Most pre that date had the clocks replaced under warranty at first service but a few slipped through.

Good to hear, I have finally got a test ride booked for Saturday on a 06, but I dont like the black as much as the natural coloured one so it will be a test only. Cant hardly wait, 3 hours in the gold coast hinterland with no salesman to spoil the fun.
