OK OK OK.......2004 Later model Milles this time!
I know this has been done to death on the earlier Mille, BUT has anyone got any experience on whether it's better to have a sealed or open airbox on the later RSV's.
I am going to get one of "hooked" conversions to the airbox but am after advice to which would be better for me.
I don't go flat out (Max top speed-max ram air effect?) that often, certainly not more than about 125 -140 in normal day to day use (trackdays of course occifer), so would I lose out on the "ram air" or not at those speeds and below. If not I may go for the open version, I would so, so, much prefer more lower and mid range torque anyway.
Also if I do go for the open version will the airflow metering on the later milles be up the swanny or could that be sorted on the PCIII? (As it's designed as a fully sealed airbox unit with ram air)
There we go, food for thought.
Answers please before I put an order in wiv Hooked.
