04 Factory Service???

Now i've got the Imobiliser ecu issue sorted, thought i'd give the bike a good service.
Was told by previous owner that they had just serviced it, but after checking plugs and air filter i don't think its ever been touched?

What Oil apart from what is recommended in manual are people using?

Also rear sprocket is a suntour and it has a regina chain fitted, as i have no service history does anyone know if these were original parts?

Lastly it has a set of Metzler Racetec tyres fitted, not good for the road, not in the damp cold North East anyway, Any recommendations?

Was out Sat and Sun:thumbup, It should have a health warning sticker on it somewhere, sounds like a big angry 2stroke above 10k- :doug

I have Silkolene comp4 15/50 semi in mine, Renthal rear, Talon front sprockets with DID chain :thumbup isn't regina chain for pushbikes :dunno:biggrin
Tyres atm are Michelin pilot powers, 2ct's are good, pirelli corsa 3's, bridgestone BT016's....lots of threads on here about tyres if you do a search :thumbup

Yeah will do, Planning a ride out good Friday to Devils Bridge, Kirby Lonsdale and back through Hawes and leyburn if your up for it? Nothing mad just steady away:doug

sounds good, pm is nearer the time, and a will meet up. av got michelin 2ct's on, feel ok, but had supercorsa's on last summer and they were awsome.

Regina chain and suntour sprockets is Oem equipment for a 2004 bike.

Thanks Spoonz, bought the bike last november with no service history and 1100 miles showing on the clock, didn't know about the clocks re setting issue until after i'd bought it.
The bike is very clean and chain and sprockets not too bad so maybe it hasn't done that much mileage anyway??
Gonna do a full service on it inc all fluids etc just to be sure.
