Try using the search facility in the top r/h corner. All the info is on here somewhere.

I'll summarise.

Change the gearing, I wouldn't bother with anything else although in fairness there are some peeps who have fitted customised ECUs and are happy with it.

On a Tuoldo like yours (and my '03 also) - most change gearing 1 down 2 up so 16/44.

Yep gearing their crap at low revs and around town you start shifting up and down like your wanking the bike and holding the clutch in just to stop it

Not sure - mine were done just before I had it, think they might be Talon :O

Renthal sprockets -1 on the front and +2 on the rear, standard size chain will fit.

I have a 1st gen as well. When I had to replace the chain and sprockets I dropped one tooth on the front and went up two on the back. Standard chain length fits. Opted for Renthal sprockets. The bronze rear sprocket matches the bronze frame quite closely (coincidence). Much easier to ride in town as well as improved acceleration. Fuel consumption hasn't reduced either.

Also fitted an Oberon clutch slave cylinder which works well.

You need to change the exhaust of course! Weight saving is massive.

Still considering an airbox conversion with chip from Forza Aprilia Racing. Not got round to it yet but it is on my to do list.

I have heard that a big bore kit is good. I am not going that far; too much money for the gain in power in my opinion.

will check my sprockets but sure there standard and start with changing them.

Been reading reading about rev matching on my tuono but found the system doesn't like you blipping the throttle on down changing. Changing the clutch cylinder help with this. Or is it a case of engine breaking to smoothing out down changes.

What dose everyone suggest cheers Dan:banghead:thumbup:cheers

No problem.

As for the clutch, change the clutch jet for a .40 and change the slave cylinder for an Oberon or similar, this makes the clutch lighter and easier to get neutral. As for down shifts, the engine has a sort of slipper clutch called a back torque limiter. It works off a vacume made by the throttle bodies and has a diaphragm behind the clutch cover. They have a one way valve half way down the hose from the throttle bodies, remove this and check it is working properly (blow through it and make sure it only goes one way). The best option is to fit an aftermarket slipper clutch.
