hi hope someone can help im new to the mille when im riding along my mate behind me is telling me that he can smell fuel its got a std pipe on and a k&n filter on it only does 90 miles then the fuel light is on get to about 145 and its only pulling about 5000 rpm and seem to want to go anymore do anybody no wot it could be im told it could be that the throttle bodys need setting up any ideas please help

get your co and tb's set up asap

to upset you mine pulls all the way to 10500 at 167

oh ya thanks lol its doing my head in just want to know wot it is. is your std or have u changed some things

It may be worth you checking that it's been deristricted aswel
Check on the ecu the smaller plug bottom row first wire in should be blue and green has been cut and also there some thing in the rubber case under the air box to stop air flow and there's a cone in the end can but most people just change the can anyway
And make sure you get the tbs and co setup costs about 45quid but it'll be like a new bike

co = basically the fuelling ..tbs are throttle bodies you'll be surprised what a difference an hour with Griff can do.

By the sound of it I would be checking the ignition system to start with, Plugs and coils etc. Sounds like theres a lot of unburnt fuel if your mate can smell it?
