Hi Everyone,
I'm trying to get my Mille on the road on a severe budget (about £0 to be honest!) :blush and have been busily sanding scuffed panels ready for rattle can painting (as I can't find anywhere that can paint Aprilia colours at an affordable price).
I've got most of them ready except the RH panel which is too badly damaged. it has a dozen hairline cracks running from top to about midway down, I've tried securing these but they keep opening up under any pressure so I've decided to bite the bullet and try and scrounge a free or cheap replacement. Colour and/or scuffs don't matter as long as I'll be able to sand them out. I have the baffle etc so it's just the actual panel I need. Can anyone help?

Whereabouts are you Peter? I'm pretty sure I've got a reasonable red one, but postage may kill your cheap mantra

Hi Paul, I'm in Northumberland. I can get a courier to collect from just about anywhere for £3. Peter.

If Paul ain't got one I'm pretty sure I have a red one lying around too without the baffle too so perfect for you ;-)

Thanks very much both of you. Red too........may even save a bit of painting :thumbup

John, the courier I normally use is 'myhermes.co.uk' They mostly do Debenhams, M&S, Next etc but also do private collections.
Up to 2kg (which covers most plastic parts) is only £2.75+vat and they have a generous size allowance. I've only had one problem in years of use so am happy with them.
 
Hermes do work on size parameters too, volumetric weight. I use them for around 20 parcels a week. The panel won't be £3 I'm afraid mate, quick quote I've just done is outside their parameters. Yodel (DHL) at around £10 insured best I can see.

Panel I have is for the left unfortunately, so hopefully Jon can help you out

Ignore that boll0cks I wrote above....

Hermes is £4.80, still only have a LH panel though
