has yer oil tank started to rust yet.

same as mine stix...tho i got arrow system and took pillion seat off..(no fekkin way i'm puttin someone on back..lol)
gear it 15/42 tho'. i found it perfect for town or fast riding.

Oh yeah forgot my gearing has been changed. 1 down 2 up IIRC - whats that make it?

Prolly the same as the most of us at 15/42. Best compromise for everyday riding, racing, and throw downs with mates on IL4s.

Thats looks good matey - bet those wheels are buggers to keep clean tho!

Delboy77 thats exactly the same as my bike but the wheels are cleaner. Mines due for a wash after a ride out tomorrow with AkaGilo so as soon as I get back its getting covered in suds. Will post a pic of mine soon me thinks.

Cheers StiX...Yeah a real bugger, they are filthy now and can stay like that as the chain needs a lube and i turn it will lube everything in sight!!! Best thing to clean em is gun oil...spray the wheels and leave for about 5 mins, get an old dry sponge and wipe away to reveal a shiny white OZ wheel. Works great.

You should try it Bay.

To be honest Delboy I just usually give it a blast with some wheel cleaner and use the hose. You can spend so much time on bikes keeping them clean and they just get dirty the next time you ride them that I tend to keep mine pretty ok. Every time I wash it I just cover it in ACF50 and Scottoiler so it keeps the corrosion down and when its washed comes up pretty good anyway.

The good thing with the Carbon fairings is that they don't require polishing.

Primo example of a Gen I mucker! Makes a Gen II owner such as myself proud to see such a well loved example of where we came from. Thanks Del.

Cheers mate, must admit tho I would mind havin a go on the gen 2. Are they much different? Do they handle as good as the Gen 1 racing V Gen 2 factory??

Nice sales pitch there Bonners.

If I had that money I would gladly keep a gen 1 and gen 2:rolleyes:

Nice lookin machine, you shouldn't have much of a problem sellin that:D:D

If the fueling is sorted on the Gen I and the few other niggling issues, I've heard from other respected members *giggle* *snort* here that the Gen I is a smidge taller and the GenII is a little wider. Other than that, brilliant loon machines. A matter of taste as to which styling you prefer.
